Not all healing happens one-on-one

At Big Tree Forest Therapy, I offer small group experiences and workshops in nature that create space for connection, reflection, and shared understanding—without pressure or expectation.

A Shared Experience in Nature

Group forest therapy and workshops offer something unique.

There is a quiet comfort in being alongside others who may be carrying similar experiences—whether it’s stress, grief, transition, or simply the weight of a busy life.

In these sessions, you are gently guided through nature-based invitations, just as you would be in an individual session. The difference is that you are held not only by the forest, but by a shared, respectful presence of others.

There is always space for personal reflection, and optional opportunities to share—but nothing is ever required.

Who These Groups Are For

These offerings are designed for individuals who may benefit from both nature-based support and shared experience.

Groups and workshops may be especially supportive for:

First responders and high-stress professionals navigating burnout, mental fatigue, or ongoing stress

Those experiencing grief, loss, or major life transitions

Individuals moving through menopause or significant life changes

Anyone feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or in need of a reset

Those looking for a gentle, supportive group environment rather than traditional talk-based settings

You don’t need to have previous experience with therapy or group work. You are welcome exactly as you are.

Types of Groups & Workshops

Getting started is simple, and I’ll guide you through each step.

Forest Therapy Groups

Small, guided group sessions that follow the forest therapy model, offering space to slow down, reconnect with your senses, and experience the restorative effects of nature alongside others.

First Responders Support Groups

Created for those working in high-pressure, high-responsibility roles, these sessions offer a space to quiet the noise, release tension, and reconnect with a sense of calm and clarity.

Grief & Loss Groups

A gentle, supportive environment where you can move through grief at your own pace. Nature offers a quiet, steady presence—allowing space for reflection, emotion, and moments of relief without needing to explain or justify your experience.

Menopause & Life Transitions

These sessions create space to acknowledge change, connect with others in similar stages of life, and find grounding in a natural environment that reflects cycles, transition, and renewal.

Workshops

Workshops expand on this work through guided experiences such as forest bathing, nature journaling, expressive arts in nature, and nature-based wellness practices—designed to help you build a lasting relationship with the outdoors.

I also offer customized workshops for teams, organizations, and community groups looking to support wellbeing in a more grounded, meaningful way. These experiences can be tailored to your group’s needs, whether you’re supporting staff experiencing burnout, creating space for connection, or offering something a little different outside of a traditional setting.
